It's simple, it's quick to navigate, takes about two minutes to get in and out of there - I love the Jetport. Inexpensive? Parking here costs about half as much as parking at big-city airports, and you'll find that the nearby hotels are a fraction of the cost of other cities. Not only is the Jetport less than ten minutes from Maine’s largest city, it's also a convenient gateway to the southern Maine beaches region, the mountains to the West, or north to Downeast Maine and Acadia National Park. Very close to the airport you'll find a lively business center, charming shops, fine restaurants and Maine's largest shopping mall. For more information on all there is to see and do in Greater Portland and beyond, you can always stop by the Visitor Center in the passenger terminal. Getting to York from the Portland Maine Airport One of the reasons York makes an excellent Maine honeymoon destination (or family vacation) is the ease of travel to and from the Portland Maine airport. Yes, you can fly into Boston's Logan airport as well, but getting in and out of Logan and Boston is a vastly different experience than getting in and out of Portland! York, Maine, and the entire southern Maine seacoast region, is under an hour from the Jetport. 10 minutes or less from the airport will get you onto I-95, the Maine Turnpike, and from there it's an easy 45 minute ride south to Exit 7 in York, where an unforgettable Maine vacation awaits...
